SCRUFFFY SPACESHIP INTRIGUEThere has been a rise in the purchase of telescopes in the past couple of days. Many have become interested in watching the small shuttle outside our orbit with their own eyes instead of a depiction of what others have witnessed. To those who can’t afford to buy a scope, Polol Amaro painted what the mysterious shuttle looked like. From her point of view, she doesn’t think there may be life inside the spaceship. This comment saddened many people; who hoped our friend up in the sky would one day come
down to meet us.
Whether there is life or not we won’t know until Taw wakes up. It’s not common for our home to let a foreign object float around it for so long that its people have become aware of it.

IMEI'S DISAPPEARANCE UPDATEYesterday a group of college students from BTU went into the still-standing part of Keh Village Forest to search for Imei. This group was led by Flaul, Imei’s best friend, who wanted to at least try to find clues of where her friend may be.Imei’s parent didn’t participate, they wanted to stay at home in case she came back. Their neighbors have grown worried about them given they have seen them standing at their door for hours without eating, just waiting for their daughter to return. They aren’t the only ones whose worlds have gone completely upside-down because of this disappearance.Baho, Imei’s boyfriend, has worried his friends given his firm denial his girlfriend has gone missing. They believe this situation has caused him stress to the point of believing she is merely mad at him and that he’ll see her next week in class. His father, the headmaster of BTU, has no statements regarding his son’s mental health, though some speculate he may be taking Baho out Lazo to help his delusions. The first day of the search didn’t bring signs of Imei’s whereabouts, however, Flaul said they wouldn’t back down. They will continue exploring the forest for clues today and tomorrow.

THE TELEPA PEACEOur smart communication devices are where many have gone to seek comfort. Those who have lost their loved ones in the current gods war have gotten peace from writing long heartfelt letters and sending voice messages to the telepas scattered around Lazo.Since the telepas can only be heard and read by their owner some have taken this opportunity to unveil their feelings to those they never could reveal it to.The families of those who are missing have asked to leave the telepas where they’ve been found. That helps them cope with their sorrow. The mother of a woman called Rea, who was kidnapped a day ago, told us that it makes them feel hope, getting the telepas back is like accepting their loved ones are never returning. We ask the public to be respectful of those who are experiencing sorrow and their ways of coping.

THE GOD'S CASTLE BACKSTAB ON ROIRA CITYAlmost every god coronation was held in Roira’s holy citadel since the first time we chose a sovereign, and it has a track record of hosting gods’ ceremonies. Therefore, they found it insulting when Dubsei City was selected to welcome the new gods to Taw.The castle stated that the amount of danger invading Lazo Territory given the rogue previous gods urged them to choose the nearest fairy city to avoid risking the safety of our new deities. However, that may not be the only reason the gods’ castle chose another city for their ceremony. Rumor has it that the previous Goddess of Ice hides in its fortress and that she is under Mayor Maro's loyal protection. No matter how much Mayor Maro states he will always be on the side of our living gods and Taw, his private opinions tend to flow around. Drunk and in the company of noisy friends, he voiced his concern and rejection of Taw’s decision, leaving his city in an uncomfortable position with the new gods.He may also have some intel on the previous gods he’s not sharing with the public. After all, why would he know to reinforce the patrol around his city right before the God of Chaos attacked?

WORRIES ABOUT THE SCRUFFY SPACESHIPAfter 8 days of floating in our orbit, we still haven’t gotten any SOS signal from the mysterious shuttle.Astronomers have concluded the spaceship may have space for no more than two people. They presume it is just one person because of the amount of time it has stayed outside Taw. Eight days are too long for two people not to argue about what to do and conclude in an action requiring the shuttle to move. However, that presumption may be null if the individuals up there are deceased.Still, more than a week without movement is long for one person. The Guardian of Change Temple hasn’t commented on this situation and their silence worries Taw’s citizens. They should at least release a statement explaining that the person up there is insisting that their application to enter our home planet be approved and that’s why they aren’t leaving. Or he could be waiting for it to be reviewed. If the Guardian of Change hadn’t revised the application of the shuttle individual everyone would understand. After all, he must get the new gods to settle amid the past gods creating havoc. However, without a single announcement regarding what is happening, Tauvas can’t feel at ease.To preserve our home, and respect Taw’s wishes, we have never tried to travel into outer space. Since the beginning we have trusted the Tauvas at the Guardian of Change Temple to keep us up to date with any crucial occurrences from other planets we need to be aware of. Yet today we are left wondering about one foreign object that might require assistance or, perhaps, could be a menace.

DEITIES

THE FEAR OF THE PAST GODSKeh Village is still recovering from the destruction Chaos left after multiple visits that left many without homes, very few without their lives, and a lot with missing loved ones. It is weird how Chaos is using his powers nowadays given the lack of casualties in his recent attacks. Some have speculated his form as a solid soul has deprived him of using his power at full capacity. People who have experienced the havoc at Keh and its surrounding areas say otherwise. Yet the theory may not be completely off base.A day ago, he attacked Occa Village but didn’t leave much destruction on his way. He mainly kidnapped people he could at night and vanished. Chaos could be trying to keep the energy he has left to fight the new gods or perhaps he’s just being careful because someone else is telling him so.We all know the God of Chaos and Goddess of Darkness have a close relationship. We have learned to fear the successors of those powers every time Taw has found a better fit for the role. They both have brought such calamity to our land which many of our ancestors won’t forget. However, we haven’t seen the previous Goddess of Darkness cause clear harm anywhere. Her power can bring our spirits down, yet we remain strong. She could take our light away, however, there’s still some brightness at night.None of our journalists have seen the Goddess of Darkness around and Taw has made it impossible for the past gods to leave Lazo. We are under the assumption that she and the God of Chaos are working together. Darkness’ reign as the Queen of Gods was short, but it showed us how much potential she had as a leader. Our team has pointed out that the previous Queen of Gods could be the one who is pulling the strings of some of our past gods. After all, they swore loyalty to her once her predecessor died.In the meantime, the only gods that have seen together are the God of Chaos and the God of Minerals, which is surprising given Taw has always been Minerals’ home. Maybe power has gone to his head, and he has forgotten he was born a Tawan.Everything in this article is alleged, we can’t be sure who is working with who. This is based on information collected by our investigators, which they’ve gathered while trying to understand what is happening in the world of our deities.Fairy artist Erabu drew the picture on the right. It’s the view from his high-rise apartment at Dubsei pointing at Keh Village, on the day it was attacked.

TAW

TAW'S DECISION HIT ON MET BANKThe greatest Tauva bank in Taw has been trying to maintain its standing as a multicultural bank that unites our two main races. There has been a decline in the number of accounts and amount of valuables Tauvas have entrusted them. This bank had a rocky start since the beginning given its initiative to hold accounts of both Tawans and Fairies in the same building. The one who made this possible was the previous God of Weather. He stated that on his home planet, Minscè, the economy is seen as the pillar of its society’s stability, and everyone, no matter the race, of high standard will hold their valuables on the same trusted entity.Weather wanted to unite Tawans and Fairies and he did in a certain matter. We go to the same bank but don’t talk to each other. The only ones who have truthfully benefitted from this union are the workers of Met Banks’ buildings. They have built genuine friendships with those of the other race and find it weird once they get out and the world reacts the opposite way.The problem at the moment relies on who will aid the bank when a racist scandal arrives next time. For almost 2000 years, Weather has done an excellent job persuading both sides to get along and coexist more peacefully. However, now that he is no longer a god in Taw, we don’t know what will come of the Met Bank. The President of Met Bank is waiting impatiently for the gods’ war to end to meet with the new gods and get one of them to back him up. If it’s possible he wishes it would be the Sovereign of Gods. If he gets the sovereign, they can help spread the word of uniting our races and decrease racism more smoothly than any other god would.

TAW'S DECISION FROM THE PREVIOUS GODDESS OF ENERGY PERSPECTIVEThe last time Taw spoke to us before returning to sleep shocked everyone. The previous Goddess of Energy was being interviewed by Early Key Newspaper on Abalas Territory in Salba Continent when the news hit, and she was just as confused as us.Not only that but the interviewer and his crew almost collapsed when they saw the goddess disintegrate and reappear in front of them. The goddess has become a solid soul; she looks alive, but no harm can come to her. The same applies to 16 of our previous gods. The other 6 have successfully gotten reincarnated.Energy, or Jay, as she wants to be called from now on that she’s not a goddess anymore (her own words), has shared Taw’s special message to the previous gods with Early Key Newspaper given her desire for transparency in all of Taw. “The new gods must absorb us in solid soul form. I don’t think many back home will take these circumstances lightly. Wish me luck, friends. I’m about to meet very angry individuals at the castle.”Before the statement above, the goddess told Early Key Newspaper that Taw gave the past gods a day to return to Lazo. If they didn’t comply they would absorbed by Taw’s core. It appears our planet has trapped the gods in this territory. That must be why the God of Chaos attacks have been centered here. Even though gods can unleash their powers anywhere regardless of where they are, maybe Taw has restricted the areas where the past gods’ powers work. The Goddess's last words to Early Key Newspaper were, “Next time I’ll come back as one part of the God of Fire.”

Our articles are meant to inform and not to disrespect our dear home.We love Taw and believe it has our best interest at heart.

VITALITY

EXCLUSIVE INFORMATION ON THE MISSINGAs more people get dragged out of their beds every night, detectives have been piling up clues as to who are the ones most likely to get taken. Apparently, the God of Chaos is selective of who he is kidnapping. On the first attack on Keh Village, most of the dead were people of old age and children. While this is not uncommon given they are the ones less up to and knowledgeable, respectively, to escape a catastrophe, there was only one person that didn’t belong to that age group to die.“Chaos killed a woman in her 40s but, thought that is young, she is not the age group he is most interested in,” One of the detectives stated.Chaos has been targeting Tawans between the ages of 26 and 36. The detectives speculate this may be because those are the ages in which our magic essence and vitality are at their peak. They also presume the god may target university students given they are the ones who can maintain those attributes high after the age of 36.Our journalists have been debating about this information given that the precision of the God of Chaos goes against any theory of his powers declining. We were holding on to the hope that would be the case so the days of terror would be over. However, we probably won’t get a rest until the new gods take control. The two detectives we have talked to prefer to stay anonymous.Pictures drawn by our newspaper’s artists.

The paintings don’t represent all the people who have gone missing. We are trying our best to spread the word about everyone who hasn’t returned home.

EDUCATION

SADNESS AT BTU'S HALLSThe students of the faculty of Habitat Maintenance at Blamors Tawan University still can’t believe one of their classmates has vanished. Their class break didn’t even last a month and now they have an empty seat in their Fran Preservation classroom.Imei’s disappearance has everyone shaken and scared of leaving the comfort of Loa Tawan City. She knew the trip back home may be risky but she wanted to see her parents after the God of Chaos attacked her village twice and continued causing torment kidnapping people at night.Students pasted flipchart papers on a wall of their faculty’s main building for anyone to leave sweet messages hoping for Imei’s return. That boosted the morale of some and gave a bit of tranquility to those who didn’t want to leave their dorms in case any danger came their way.BTU’s security has doubled its patrols since the danger started. They want to make sure students feel safe. The rector announced that the campus should be secure and that there is nothing to worry about. Loa’s mayor told him she sent her best builders to reinforce the barrier at the city’s borders. We sent our best wishes to Imei’s family and have faith everyone who has disappeared at Keh Village will come home. The painting, to the right, was drawn by one of BTU’s Faculty of Entertainment students.

MECIA ARI, THE 1ST TAWAN TO TEACH IN A FAIRY UNIVERSITYSeven years after the first Tawan was allowed to attend a Fairy University, Mecia Ari has been proclaimed worthy to become the new Tawan Subraces teacher at Plaw Fairy University in Roira City. While this calls for celebration, it is incredible the amount of time and effort we must put into appearing respectful in the eyes of our winged fellas. This achievement should be a common thing, instead of a rare occurrence. As Tauvas we have lived divided by our two races since Fairies built their cities with high walls surrounding them and continued excluding us from their progress in technology. We hold a clear disadvantage because as a race our bodies can’t produce as much magic as Fairies. However, that has never stopped us from innovating, which is why we should never be seen as less than what we are.Mecia Ari has proved we are more than able to be up to Fairies’ level in terms of intelligence and capability, this is one more step to a wider range of job opportunities to come.
